My name is Diane, founder of My Cotswold PA, a Virtual Assistant Service based in the Cotswolds.
I have been a professional PA for over 20 years 15 of those in London, working in a variety of areas and with a real range of people in small to large businesses. More recently, in the last 5 years I have been virtually supporting individuals both privately and on a business level. My career has led me to support some influential people which has meant that discretion and confidentiality is key to my everyday work.
The experience I've gained through working with peoples ever changing diaries, workloads and managing priority over priority is more than simply administrative and business related. Being part of both someone’s work and personal lives has been essential to help them in managing all their responsibilities and making their lives overall easier and more organised, so they have the capacity to focus on their priorities.
I believe that one of the essential parts of being a good PA is to understand and adapt the way I work to best suit the person I am working with, using my skills and experience to understand their goals, way of working and communication style are key to providing the best service.
As a PA it’s imperative to build trust and business relationships quickly so I can manage expectations and run with the work required. My inherent organisational and administrative skills combined with an approachable, unflappable demeanor creates a natural PA.
My goal is to make my clients' lives relaxed, comfortable and more organised from the small daily tasks to larger specific projects, where each client knows they can rely on me to complete their requirements and keep them up to date, so they are able to focus on their other priorities, or simply relax and have a cup of tea.
